Why are we different?

Dear fellow groomer,

Everyone knows there are dozens of places to buy good quality grooming products but how many boast their own, practicing, grooming professional in residence who knows which products are hot and which ones are, frankly, not?

I'm Mark Sproston and thanks to my Mensgroom and my Shave Doctor brands, you could say I know a thing or two about how best to look after your skin. As a practicing professional teaching the traditional art of 'barber shop' shaving, I visit salons and spas right across the UK.

Browse around the site and by all means, tell me what you think and how we could improve the online experience at Mensgroom.

If you have a question, just get in touch via email and I'll get back to you asap.

all the best and happy grooming,

COMIC RELIEF

Castleford Tigers

Castleford Tigers' stars Liam Higgins and Michael Shenton were given a traditional cut-throat shave at Brooklyn Men in South Elmsall.

Liam, 25, said: "I decided to take part to raise money for charity. I've not been shaving for a couple of weeks in preparation for today."

Michael, 22, added: "I just wanted to help raise money for Comic Relief and this seemed like a good way to do it."

Barbers Lee Cooper and Mark Sproston also cut and shaved residents for a donation to the charity.

Lee said: "All in all it was a successful day. We had a lot of interest and had a considerable number of guys come in for a shave and donating money for the charity."
